A Users\u2019 Committee\u2019s mandate is to act as the spokesperson for users within its institution, ensuring that each individual\u2019s rights and freedoms are respected, while working toward the continuous improvement of the services received and the users\u2019 living environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201cThe mandate of Users\u2019 Committees and Residents\u2019 Committees is to act as guardians<\/strong> of users\u2019 rights. These committees must ensure that users are treated with respect for their dignity and in recognition of their rights and freedoms. They are among the key representatives of users within the institution.<\/p>

Respect for users\u2019 rights, service quality, and client satisfaction are the foundations that guide their actions.<\/strong> They must pay particular attention to the most vulnerable client groups and work to promote improvements in the living conditions of individuals in care.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tYouth councils (Residents\u2019 Committees) have the same mandate as the Users\u2019 Committee, but operate within their respective campuses only. Young people are appointed by their peers to represent their unit and meet at least once a month to work concretely on promoting users\u2019 rights and improving quality of life within their environment.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
