As of May 31, 2018, all rehabilitation centres of the Youth Centre of Montérégie will become completely non-smoking.  The new rule will apply to all: youth, visiting parents and all employees.  A number of support measures will be offered to young people wishing to stop smoking by the deadline.

Montérégie is not the first region to take this healthy turn.  Indeed, the regions of Gatineau and Montreal already opted to put this regulation into effect a few years ago.
